The curriculum is built upon the three goals which cater to all the domains of development. The early learning outcomes to be achieved by the children, the pedagogical processes to be used by the teachers and the key skills and concepts to be focused upon are suggested for the effective execution of the curriculum.
We at Olive Trails IS aim to inculcate a holistic (whole child) education design program that connects to all the areas of a child's life, and recognizes that all aspects of a child's growth are interconnected. This includes the child's social/emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being.
At Olive Trails - Divisions of RBKEI, we have designed programs for children aged 9 months to 6 years. Toddlers between 9 and 21 months visit the center thrice a week while Play Group and older children attend the school daily to indulge in a variety of age-appropriate immersive learning experiences.
As part of our Mother-Toddler Program, the Child along with their the Mother attends experiential sessions for 1.5 hours, thrice a week. The goal of our Mother-Toddler program is to provide one-on-one playtime across different learning studios for mothers and infants to develop stronger bonds.
Our Play Group program is designed as the first independent adventure for children. The group meets for 2.5 hours daily and the program focuses on providing a secure and stimulating environment that encourages experiential learning through sensory, creative, social, physical, and cognitive engagements.
Our Pre-K Program is designed for children aged 2.5 to 3.5 years. Children spend about 4 hours at school daily engaging in diverse activities to advance their skills in core pre-academic areas including literacy, math, and science. social and emotional development areas, including empathy, health, and well-being are also take care of.
Our comprehensive Kindergarten curriculum is spread over 2 years (K-1 and K-2) and is based on the Approach to Learning. Children focus on 4-6 central ideas through the course of the year asking questions about who they are, the world around them, sharing the planet, and how the world works.
